Travel Guard® International (Travel Insurance)

Overview

Travel Guard® International Extra* product provides you peace of mind when travelling overseas through extra coverage maximum to 26 benefits, for example: Medical Expense benefit, Loss of Baggage benefit, Flight Delay benefit or Overbooking benefit. Beside of the coverage, the product has offered both Single Trip Plan which provides you the coverage up to 184 days and Annual Plan covers you up to 184 days per trip with unlimited number of trips per annual. Our plans are also available for a wide range of age that suits you and your family in order to ensure that “your happiness will never be stuck”.

With worldwide network of AIG in more than 230 countries and Worldwide Assistant Centers with experienced doctors and nurses are available to service you effectively, through our eight wholly owned, state-of-the-art global service centers, customers have access to 24/7 emergency travel assistance, medical and security services with Thai language & more than other 40 different languages spoken on-site.

*Remarks:

AIG Travel Guard International Travel Insurance is the name as approved by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC).
Please note that this travel insurance policy covers an insured who departed from Thailand only.

Coverage*

Individual of Thais and foreigners depart from Thailand to travel abroad on leisure, business, field trips, to visit friends and/or relatives or apply for visa etc.
Age limit:
- Single Trip
  - Plan A, Plan B and Plan C: Newborn – 85 years
  - Plan D: Newborn – 75 years
- Annual Trip
  - Plan A, Plan B and Plan C: Newborn – 85 years
Covers up to 184 days for Single Trip
Covers 184 days per trip for Annual Trip (unlimited number of trips per annual)
Physical examination is not required for persons who are within the specified age limit.

Provides coverage during the specified period of each trip.
Provides 24-hour accident and health insurance while traveling and living in a foreign country.
The coverage starts two hours prior to the departure from Thailand and continues until the Insured travels back to his or her place of residence in Thailand, or for two hours upon arrival in Thailand, or until the expiry date of the period of insurance, whichever is earlier.
