Make the world a safer place.
Our Thailand CSR program is built around 3 core activities based on our global CSR mission “Make the world a safer place”.
Road Safety
It is estimated that, every day, there are over two million children in Thailand traveling to school by motorcycle. But the survey found only 7% wearing helmets whilst WHO’s report in 2012 and 2015 clearly shows that Thailand is the world top rank for road accident death rate.
The "30 baht for your head," an initiative between AIG and Mind Your Head Club, a club by DDD (Don’t Drive Drunk Foundation) is a campaign to promote social awareness for use of helmets among children. AIG has been donating kid helmets more than 15,000 units since 2013.
Security
"Connect You To The World" is a continuous project to donate over 50 computers per annum to the schools and communities in rural area.
Disaster Relief
Although insurance is intended to help reduce the burden and recover from the loss, but disaster relief is another mission we concern especially, for those victims of catastrophe. We raised fund and supported the victims of major flood in 2011. We built a house for victims of major earthquake at Chiang Rai in May 2014.
